- The British Tunisian society is a 50 years old friendship society. Its objective is to build bridges between UK and Tunisia at all levels. It enjoys a very good relationship with policy makers, civic societies and business communities, and aims to use it to make positive impact for the benefit of both countries. The current steering group aims to push the following strategic themes during its 3 years term ( 2007-2009 ): 1- Strengthen relationship between Tunisian Professionals in UK and British Professionals 2- Lobby for stronger cooperation in education between Tunisia and Britain 3- Lobby to enhance trade between Tunisia and Britain; If you want to join BTS as a member; apply for the open position in the steering group or if you just want to help occasionally (sending news that may be of interest to BTS members or organize an event..etc) please send an e-mail to BritishTunisianSociety@googlemail.com
